Quality & Precision

Built into every process.

Quality is handled as part of production, not an afterthought. Inspection and documentation are integrated into every stage — from receiving raw material through final dimensional verification and shipment.

Our Approach

Quality through process discipline.

Every job is built around the customer's print as the specification. We check progress at every critical stage, document results, and are accountable for delivering to that print — not just shipping parts and hoping they work. When a drawing calls for a tolerance, we measure to it. When a dimension matters, we verify it. The result is parts that fit, function, and ship on time.

Dimensional Precision

Keyence WM-6025 Wide Area CMM

Large fabricated parts and weldments—laser-cut assemblies, press-brake formed sections, welded structures—don't fit in a fixed measuring cell. The Keyence WM-6025 is an optically-tracked, wide-area coordinate measuring machine with a measurement envelope of 25m × 11m × 12.5m. The handheld probe connects wirelessly (Bluetooth, WiFi, USB) to a portable display, so parts are validated in place—no disassembly, no transport to an off-site measuring center.

Capabilities

  • Measurement accuracy to ±0.028 mm (per ISO 10360-2, full range)
  • Dimensional inspection vs. customer drawing and CAD models
  • First-article validation and certification
  • In-process dimensional checks on large assemblies and weldments
  • Geometric relationships: flatness, perpendicularity, position, run-out
  • Documented, traceable inspection records

Process

From receiving to shipment.

1. Incoming Material

Receive and verify

Material is inspected upon arrival. Mill certifications and dimensions are checked against purchase order to catch issues before they reach production.

2. In-Process Checks

Monitor progress

Critical operations are monitored against the print throughout production. Dimensions, surface finish, and geometry are checked before the part moves to the next stage.

3. Final Inspection

Validate to spec

Before shipment, parts are measured against the customer drawing. For large assemblies and weldments, we use our Keyence CMM to validate critical dimensions and geometric relationships.

4. Documentation

Create record

Inspection results and process data are documented. This record becomes part of the job history — evidence of what was built and how it was verified.

Precision in Action

Machined to specification, validated to print.

Precision-machined stainless steel flange with concentric hole patterns and tight tolerances

This precision flange exemplifies Teems' commitment to manufacturing excellence. Machined from stainless steel with concentricity held to tight tolerances, each hole pattern is verified before the part ships. The polished finish and precision geometry aren't the result of luck — they're the product of process discipline, quality equipment, and a standard that accepts nothing less than spec-compliant parts.

What You're Looking At

  • Precision bore — concentric to flange face
  • Through-hole pattern — indexed and toleranced
  • Surface finish — polished, ready for assembly
  • Material — stainless steel (corrosion resistance)
  • Verification — measured and documented before shipment

Certifications

Industry standards and credentials.

For the customers we serve, visible proof of quality systems and industry certifications is often the single strongest indicator of capability. The certifications below are those Teems holds or is pursuing. For the latest status, contact the team directly.

PLACEHOLDER

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management System — Expected status and date to be confirmed.

PLACEHOLDER

AWS Welding Certification

American Welding Society — Holder and category to be confirmed.

PLACEHOLDER

AS9100 / Aerospace

Aviation/Defense Quality — Status and applicability to be confirmed.

Other credentials: Additional certifications (NIST/CMMC, ITAR, ISO 13485, or industry-specific qualifications) — confirm with Teems if applicable to your project.

From prototype to production

Quality backed by process and equipment.

Every part leaves Teems because it meets spec, not because we hope it does. If you're looking for a manufacturing partner who takes quality seriously, request a quote and let's talk about your project.
